She's gearing up for the debut of her new TV series "Charlie's Angels," and Rachael Taylor displayed her true beauty in the August 2011 issue of Vogue Australia.
Striking a range of sexy poses for a glamorous spread, the 27-year-old Aussie actress also chatted with the magazine about her career and her role in the "Charlie's Angels" reboot.
On newsstands now in the Land Down Under, highlights from Miss Taylor's Vogue Australia interview are as follows:
On how she?s developed as an actress: ?I?ve done stuff to pay my dues and that?s what actors are supposed to do, because I was a really bad actor when I was 18 or 20. [But] I knew that I liked it and I think I had some interesting perceptions about people as a young woman, but I don?t think I had any idea about how to translate that, and I don?t think I was able to sit within emotions at all. I?m only just grasping it now.?
On whether or not she?s ambitious: ?I don?t really look forward to movie stardom or doing a $200-million movie or winning an Academy Award. I look forward to a career that I enjoy [where] you go home to someone you love and you drink really good wine. That?s ambitious, too: it?s hard to have those things, to have the career you really like and the life you really like. It?s hard striking that balance? That?s what I?m ambitious for. I don?t know if that means I?m ambitious or not, but these are things that I covet.?
On life: ?I know what I want, I want things for myself, but I think the key to life is somebody to love, something to do and something to look forward to. I don?t think it?s complicated.?
On Drew Barrymore, executive producer of the new series of Charlie?s Angels: ?I like her schtick, she comes off as really fun and she?s really sweet and very nurturing, but she?s tough as. She?s a very clever lady: she knows what her audience is and she knows how to deliver.?
On having to fight as part of her character in the series: ?The fight-or-flight mechanism? I?m flight, which is perfect for my character, really, because she?s fast. But in the end, there was enormous pay-off with learning how to handle myself. I mean, look at my wrists. I?m quite agile but I?m not strong. I must have looked ridiculous. As a matter of fact, Drew Barrymore told me I looked ridiculous.?

During band's rehearsal break for Sunday's Movie Awards, we put Foos to the test.

UNIVERSAL CITY, California — Hard rock, heavy metal, hardcore and punk have long gone hand-in-hand with evil wizards, magic, vampires and werewolves. And with a collective sub-cultural pedigree that includes stints in the Germs, No Use for a Name, Sunny Day Real Estate, Scream and some band called Nirvana, you'd think the Foo Fighters — set to perform at Sunday's Movie Awards — would know their "Potter" from their Zeppelin. Certainly they can recognize a "wand" reference and pinpoint its origin?
Right? Before we put MTV News' magically crafted trivia to the band, it seemed safe to assume the Foos would accurately distinguish between the words of Harry Potter, a "Twilight" character and Led Zeppelin. But was their underground nerd cred blown to shreds? Read on — and click the video! — to see how the Foo Fighters fared when we caught up with them on the Universal Studios lot, shortly after they finished rehearsing their Movie Awards performance.
Our own Jim Cantiello played dungeon master as Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear were given a series of semi-famous lines and asked whether they originated with "Harry Potter," the "Twilight Saga" or the lyrics of hard-rock pioneers Led Zeppelin.
Here's a sampling of a few of those one-liners:
» "The elder wand, the most powerful wand ever made."
» "Why don't you let me be yours ever truly? Can I make your garden grow?"
» "You're lying, Dolores! You mustn't tell lies!"
Can you guess whether the lines above came from the "Potter" flicks, "Twilight" or Robert Plant?
Watch as the Foos try their best to do exactly that. Then tune in to the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday to catch the Foo Fighters rock the stage with their new single, "Walk."
Will wizards, vampires or dream thieves steal the 2011 MTV Movie Awards? Find out June 5, when the 20th annual show airs live at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Tune in at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT that night for the "America's Best Dance Crew" finale and Movie Awards pre-show, loaded with live action from the red carpet, exclusive movie clips and a special edition of "After Hours."

But Tom DeLonge also hints that band's new clip will be 'more serious' than typical Blink fare.

It's not like Tom DeLonge's schedule was empty before the Blink-182 machine fired back up with the premiere of "Up All Night," the first single from their long-in-the-works Neighborhoods album.
But now, he's balancing Blink with his other band, Angels & Airwaves, and the sundry of related projects, including but not limited to, the August 10 premiere of the Angels & Airwaves film "Love" in some 450 theaters nationwide and the impending release of the double-album Love II.
So, as you can expect, things are pretty hectic for DeLonge these days. Still, as he told MTV Radio, he really wouldn't have it any other way.
"I mean, it's crazy ... the Blink record wasn't supposed to be out right now, it just kinda kept getting pushed back by everyone's schedules ... so these things are [all] happening on top of each other," he explained. "But I think it's good; of course, people are going to say that the new Blink single has elements of Angels & Airwaves in it, and that's been a big topic of discussion ... they're really working hand-in-hand."
And things don't show signs of slowing down any time soon for DeLonge. Beginning next week, Blink will hit the road with My Chemical Romance on the 2011 Honda Civic Tour. ("In some ways, the tour will almost be a forced break from everything else," DeLonge laughed.) And they just finished shooting the video for "Up All Night," which, from the sound of things should be a welcome addition to the band's already-extensive (and nudity-filled) collection of clips.
"[The plot of the video] is a secret, [but] I think that, at this point in our career, what we're trying to do with this record and everything, it's not going to be totally the same as what people expected," DeLonge teased. "But, old Blink videos, we had a lot of serious ones and we had a lot of funny ones. This one, I think, will be along the lines of being more serious, but who's to say that we don't get naked and start kissing each other in it too? Who knows? We're still the same guys."

An a cappella girl group covers Usher's hit for Nationals in next week's episode.

During this week's episode of "Glee", the gang from New Directions took a big risk when they decided they would compete in Nationals by singing their own original songs. Well, the stakes just got a little higher.
MTV News has an exclusive first listen to one of the rival groups who will go up against the McKinley High glee club in New York City during next Tuesday's (May 24) big season two finale. In the upcoming episode, an all-female a cappella group sings Usher's 2004 club and radio smash "Yeah!," which may have the Nationals judges saying just that.
Singers replace synthesizers for the four-note melody that repeats throughout the song, and lead vocalists RaVaughn Brown and Missi Hale match the high energy that Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris brought to the track.
Granted, a few things have been tweaked in the version for the tween-friendly show, including the length (the original is over four minutes long, while the "Glee" version comes in at three and a half minutes) and the tune's instructions to "Take that and rewind it back ... got the rhythm make ya booty go."
Also, instead of Ludacris' verse, "We want a lady in the street/ And a freak in the bed," one girl sings, "You know you want a kiss on the lips, old red." The line, "Ludacris fill cups like double D's" has also been cut from the song.
But, it's not all PG. At one point in the girls' rendition of the track, they page homage to Lil Jon's crunk hit "Get Low," singing, "From the windows to the walls" and even Mystikal's booty-happy single "Shake Ya Ass," when they urge, "Show me whatcha' workin' with."
At the 2005 Grammy Awards, the power trio of Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris won the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Yeah!" But, will the song bring the same sort of fortune to this girl group at Nationals? Or will the glory all belong to New Directions this time? Gleeks will still have to wait a few more days to find out.
The "Glee" season finale airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Fox, while "Glee": The Music, Volume 6, including the three new original songs "Light Up the World," "Pretending" and "As Long as You're There," will be available on Monday.
What do you think of this a cappella group's version of "Yeah!"? Let us know in the comments section below!
